Meet the founder.

Kevin Ross is the founder of Sturnus Systems LLC and a practicing attorney whose legal work focuses on business and wealth management matters. Prior to becoming an attorney, Kevin worked as an analyst at Goldman Sachs. He earned a degree in Economics from Brigham Young University and a juris doctor from the University of Tennessee Winston College of Law.

Kevin quickly became passionate about snowboarding. While spending time on the mountain, he repeatedly encountered the same problem: groups separated and struggling to reconnect. The idea for Sturnus emerged from personal experience, observing how frequently communication breaks down in mountain environments and hearing stories of guests who could not be located quickly after an accident.

Kevin founded Sturnus to improve communication, coordination, and operational awareness in environments where connectivity cannot be taken for granted.
