Meet the founder.

Kevin Ross is the founder of Sturnus Systems LLC and a practicing attorney whose work focuses on business and wealth management matters. Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked as an analyst at Goldman Sachs. Kevin earned a degree in Economics from Brigham Young University and a juris doctor from the University of Tennessee Winston College of Law.

After discovering a passion for snowboarding, Kevin began spending significant time on the mountain and repeatedly encountered the same problem: groups becoming separated and struggling to reconnect. The idea for Sturnus grew from those experiences, along with stories of guests who could not be located quickly after an accident.

Sturnus was founded on a simple belief: communication should not disappear when cellular coverage does.
